Scheduling Appointments



Each counselor is responsible for students based upon alphabetical division of last names - see main counseling page for list of counselors and assignments. To contact a counselor for a telephone or personal conference, please call their direct number found on the main counseling page or
(770) 736-4335.

Dr. Teresa Wilburn our College Counselor and Parent Instructional Support Coordinator is available to assist students in exploring career and post-secondary options as well as scholarship and financial aid opportunities. The counseling secretary handles requests for appointments, transcripts, good student insurance forms, enrollment verification letters, and work permits. The registrar, Mrs. Ortiz can help with information regarding school withdrawal or transfer, registration, transcription of records, and immunization.

PROCEDURES FOR APPOINTMENTS


With Counselor:
Students may come to the counseling office before and after school or during guided study/lunch to make appointments. Emergencies are handled on an immediate need basis. Counselors are usually available to meet with students on a walk-in basis during lunch.

Parents should call their individual counselor or (770) 736-4335 to schedule an office visit or telephone conference. Please give your student's name, grade level and the nature of your call.


With Individual Teachers:
You may e-mail your student's teacher or call the curriculum department head workroom and leave a message.

With All Teachers:
You may email your student's counselor to arrange a large group conference. Typically they are held after school (2:30 pm) and require 48 hours notice.
